About HR Logistics
HR Logistics is a London-based specialist courier for art, antiques and high-value items, established in 2022. The owner has more than ten years in the industry.
A direct line to the people moving your piece.
Those years have taken in every kind of customer, from high-end clients and private collectors to museums. Our drivers have several years’ experience, with us and with other companies. Large paintings and bigger items go with two people, and we can send two on any job that requires it.
We have driven routes all over the UK, such as Manchester to Birmingham and London to Glasgow, and multiple routes from the UK to Europe. Vans of different sizes mean we take on large jobs as well as small ones. Art is our specialism, and the same care goes into furniture, display pieces and anything else of value.
We have drivers all over the UK, so we can meet urgent requirements at any hour. Every booking is made with, and managed by, HR Logistics.
When you message or call, you deal directly with the team planning and driving your job, from the first question to the handover. If you want to know anything before you book, just ask.

How the experience was built
The work started as general courier jobs: long days, tight delivery slots and every kind of load. That teaches you quickly what a moving van does to anything that is not properly secured. Art and antiques came later, through galleries and dealers who asked for the same careful driver again.
The rest came from the people who handle these objects for a living. Gallery technicians show you how to carry a canvas by its stretcher. Museum staff show you why the condition check comes before the lift. Dealers teach you to look for the loose veneer and the sticking drawer before anything moves. Private collectors teach you something else: a piece can matter far more than its value on paper, and the person handing it over is watching how you pick it up.
HR Logistics was set up in 2022 to run every job the way those years taught.
What those jobs taught us
- Measure the way out, as well as the piece
- The van is rarely the problem. A canvas that fits in the van can still stick on the turn of a staircase, in a small lift or at a narrow door. You learn that once, on a landing, with a heavy piece in your hands. It is why we ask about stairs, lifts and door widths before we quote.
- Glass changes the job
- A glazed frame is heavier than it looks, and it does not forgive being flexed. One question at the start, glass or acrylic, changes how a piece is carried and where it sits in the van.
- Look at the piece together
- Most disagreements about condition come from nobody having looked. Each piece is checked with the person handing it over and again with the person receiving it. It takes a few minutes, and everyone leaves knowing the same thing.
- A loading slot will not wait
- A museum or fair loading bay runs to a timetable. Arrive late and the install moves; arrive early and there may be nowhere to stop. So we plan back from the time that matters, and we ask for a named contact on site.
- Know when it takes two
- Some pieces are a one-person lift on the ground floor and a two-person lift on the stairs. Experience tells you which before you start, so large paintings and bigger items go with two people.
